Slacker recently had fate save him. His wife decided to take out the brand new car to run her errands in and almost 30 seconds after she came home with the car, a huge hailstorm hit! The car was safe in the garage when it hit but if his wife had ran more of her errands, it may not have been. She even had a feeling that she should go home before she ran the other errands. It was a good thing!

For instance, have you ever found money in a pair of new pants you just bought? That would be considered fate!

When has fate saved you? Do you know anyone that has been saved by it? Do you believe in this?

Yi!!!

I have a problem that I need your listeners help with. My daughter-in-law wants my help putting together a baby shower.  Normally, I would have no problem helping her but there is an issue that is bugging me.  My son and his wife are adopting their child.  Don’t get me wrong, I am excited to have my little grandbaby here, but a lot of our family members are already struggling financially. I don’t think it is right to ask to be “showered” in gifts when they obviously have enough money to pay for the baby.  Maybe it’s just me, but she didn’t have to go through 9 months of being pregnant or the pains of labor!  Do all adoptive parents have a shower? How do I tell her that I disagree with the fact she expects a shower?

Thanks guys,

Cathy

Slacker wants to know if you can have adopted children and still have a baby shower. He knows that a lot of people will think that Cathy is a “Monster-In-Law” but this isn’t the issue.

Steve thinks that the shower is for new parents.

Slacker thinks that every child deserves a gift at a shower and that all people want to give any child a gift at a shower.

What do you think? Do you feel the same way? Is adopting expensive? What advice do you have?

Evidence has been brought up…Joan Rivers and bloggers are saying that Brett was a D-List celebrity, and had an 80’s band, so in order to get off of the D-list he may have had to do a few things that are exaggerated. She is accusing him of exaggerating it to move himself from D-list to A-list. It seems like when he starts getting less popular, something happens.

For instance, on Celebrity Apprentice, when he won, he apparently was jumping up and down.

On American Idol…He was playing a song with Casey just fine.

Slacker and Steve had a chance to interview him and he was such a good guy!

Is he faking it? Are you mad because people are saying that he is faking it?

Slacker doesn’t think he would do this but what if he is? What do you think?

Slacker and Steve have been hearing about themed weddings lately! A lot of people have been throwing these and being a part of these types of weddings.

Slacker and Steve aren’t too sure about this whole thing. They think that weddings should be a special day and that costume parties are for Halloween and other times other than your wedding day!

There have been themed weddings such as Nascar and Twilight!

What’s the big deal with this? Have you been to these types of weddings or participated in one? What is the craziest themed wedding that you have heard of?

A homeless guy robbed a house in Seattle and got busted… thanks to the dirty underwear he left behind.

He broke in and took an iPod, digital camera, and a laptop. He also used the robbery to get a change of clothes.

He grabbed a set of clean duds and left his dirty ones behind.

Cops sent the clothes to the lab asking to get DNA from the undies to try to catch the crook.

They got a DNA lock on a guy, and it turns out, he’s already in jail for another burglary.
