Yi Slacker & Steve,

I know this isn’t the typical kind of problem you guys solve for an OPP, but it’s something that drives me absolutely crazy this time of year. I live in a very nice neighborhood in Littleton and every year kids from poor dysfunctional neighborhoods are dropped off to go trick or treating in our community. Now, I know this sounds horrible, but lets be honest, this has to bother everyone. I buy candy for the kids in my neighborhood, not the kids that come in from elsewhere hoping for better candy from better neighborhoods. And these kids don’t even wear costumes half the time and are rude. I can’t just turn these certain kids away when they ring my doorbell, but I really want to. Something should be done about this. Am I the only one that feels this way? I need to know that I’m not, so we can put a solution into motion.

Thanks for your help, and I hope you get around to reading this.

Bonnie

Slacker agrees with one part of this email. There are a lot of teenagers that don’t bother wearing a costume… It’s irritating.

Slacker was poor and did drive to other neighborhoods for the better candy. You can trick or treat wherever you want!

What do you think? Is Bonnie the only one that feels this way?

A Galatia, Illinois mom and dad pulled a horrifying Halloween prank on their kids on Wednesday night. The couple staged a fake strangulation before their children ran to a neighbor’s house and called 911 to report a homicide. When deputies arrived, they learned mom was still alive and all was well. Sheriff Brown says he’s thankful it was just a prank and says, “These things happen sometimes.” That’s a night those kids will never forget!!

Also, a list came out of the worst halloween candies:

1. Smarties

2. Circus Peanuts

3. Apples

4. Raisins

5. Pennies

Because of this list and everything halloween… We want to hear all about your halloween horrors stories! What happened to you?

More has come out about Charlie Sheen’s New York rampage.  Apparently he was so high on cocaine that he was randomly screaming racial slurs.  An insider said: “It was absolutely bizarre. What happened in that hotel room is worse than what anyone knows – and people already know a lot of awful things!  At the restaurant Charlie was snorting cocaine in the bathroom. But at the hotel he was cooking it into rocks so he could smoke it. He doesn’t like to snort it because it hurts his nose and he’s had his nose redone.  When the cops arrive Charlie was naked. They threw a sheet on him and then tackled him.”

Also, Charlie Sheen’s “lady of the night” claims kidnapping…

Capri Anderson, Charlie Sheen’s lady of the evening of the hotel sabotage, will ask Colorado prosecutors to violate Charlie’s probation.  Saying Charlie held her against her will.  Pitkin County D.A. says, any complaint that criminal activity occurred in New York must be filed in New York, not Pitkin County.  But if Anderson flies to Aspen, the D.A. has “an open-door policy” and would see her.  When cops interviewed Anderson at the hotel, she did not say she felt Charlie was holding her against her will.

Anna Nicole Smith’s drug trial has reached verdicts. Howard K. Stern, Smith’s lawyer and so-called boyfriend, has been found guilty of two counts of conspiracy for enabling Smith’s prescription drug problem.  He is free pending an appeal but is due back in court January 6 for sentencing.  Two of her former doctors were also on trial. Dr. Sandeep Kapoor was cleared of all counts while Dr. Khristine Eroshevich was convicted of four counts.  They were all charged with conspiring to enable Smith’s drug addiction, and using false names to obtain the prescriptions.

Rihanna was supposed to be Katy Perry’s maid of honor but wasn’t able to attend the wedding. She has now told sources the reason why she missed the ceremony. Saying: “The album is coming out in two weeks, and I had to be available for a lot of approvals. We couldn’t get any phone service or Internet service over there. I was crushed, was really looking forward to it, but she understood. I was glad I could throw her a bachelorette party.” Video HERE .

Shape magazine is apologizing to readers for featuring LeAnn Rimes on its October cover which read: “LeAnn Rimes: How Working Out Saved Me.”  The magazine’s editor-in-chief wrote: To my dear Shape readers, You are all in good company as you all agree Shape has made a terrible mistake in putting LeAnn Rimes on the cover.  Please know that our putting her on the cover was not meant to put a husband-stealer on a pedestal-but to show how we all are human. And this woman in particular found strength in exercise in what she said was her most difficult personal moment.  But it did not come across that way … And for that I’m terribly sorry.
