Whoomp, There…Obama is?

Is this Barack Obama?
Gawker.com broke this story over the weekend that the gentleman pictured in this 1993 video for Tag Team’s “Whoomp There it is” is (perhaps) indeed the current President of the United States! Hmmm, Obama would have been about 31, and he IS left handed…
O.K., realistically , it’s not. Tag Team has come out publicly and said it’s NOT Obama, but a friend and fellow rapper named LA Sno (who actually looks nothing like Obama according to the duo). But, I’m sure Tag Team has really enjoyed the press at least.
So, as awesome as it would have been to have had our President in a cheesy 90’s rap video, we’ll have to settle for watching a cheesy 90’s rap video. Catch the Obama doppelganger (Obamalganger?) at about 1:10.

Its at the 1:00 not at 1:10. I look at this over and over. I paused it zoom in and that really looks like our president. I used to like this song. (when i was in elementary school)WOW!!

Thank goodness for the word about and not exact. Yes, it does look like our president but it’s not. If he can comment on the ridiculous issues like Kanye West and Tiger Woods, he shouldn’t have a problem admitting that he appeared in the video.
