E!’s Giuliana Ransic reported that Sean Penn was thrown out of the Governor’s Ball on Sunday night for punching one of the Hurt Locker producers, Greg Shapiro. Greg is dating Sean’s ex-wife Robin Wright. But Sean’s rep claims that this incident never took place and that he didn’t even attend the Governor’s Ball. An Academy rep stated that Sean chose not to attend, while another claims that he was never turned away. Apparently, he attended the Sunset Tower Hotel after party.
