A man in Las Cruces, New Mexico was found naked along a highway with his prosthetic right leg in flames.
Turns out, the 47 year-old fella set his fake leg on fire with a crack pipe.
He was treated for burns to his leg, back and buttocks.
A witness agreed to give the man a ride, but dropped him off after he lit a crack pipe inside the car.
The guy was arrested at his home after his brothers called the cops on him.
A woman in Indiana, PA got busted for DUI… on a motorized wheelchair!
Cops caught her driving her wheelchair down the street drunk, hopped up on pills, and high on pot.
She had fallen off the chair a bunch of times before she was pulled over.
She was charged with drug paraphernalia and public drunkenness.
A 59 year old man from Houston, Texas enjoyed a night, so he got a designated driver: his 12 year old grandson!
The man’s other grandson is 11. And he was in the back seat.
Officers got a call about a truck driving erratically on highway. When they pulled the truck over, they saw the 12-year-old at the wheel.
When they asked the drunk grandfather why he had the boy drive, he told them that the boy was “learning how to drive.”
The boys were released to their father.
The grandfather is behind bars.
A guy in Portland, Maine was arrested after he stole more than $10,000 worth of dairy products, mostly milk, then reselling them for profit.
The 41 year old was fired from a dairy company after products he was supposed to deliver never made it to their destinations.
Turns out, he had built a refrigerated storage area in his house for the stolen products.
Police found the storage area and arrested him.
A mother in Long Island, New York was arrested for driving drunk after one of her own children called 911 on her.
The 48 year old woman was swerving into other lanes of traffic while her 10 and 12 year old children sat in the backseat.
One of the two kids told the 911 operator that his mom was “not speaking correctly” and driving recklessly.
She was pulled over, and arrested.
The owner of a Midas store in Hanover, PA put a customer’s name up on his sign. Apparently, the guy owed $450 bucks and Midas couldn’t get it from him. Instead of bill collectors, the owner put his name on the sign out front along with a message: “pay your bill now!” It worked. The next day the guy left a partial payment and promised to pay the rest in a week. The store owner said he didn’t mean to embarrass him… he just wanted the money.
Police in Larkspur, Colorado were called because a car horn was honking for almost an hour…
When they got there they found out why.
A full-size bear was trapped inside of a Toyota.
The bear had managed to open the door. It was after the sandwich the owner left inside.
The door closed, the bear hit the shifter and the car rolled down the driveway and off the road into some trees.
Cops tied a long rope to the door, opened it, and the bear eventually left…. heading back into the woods.
Southwest Airlines is making headlines again…
This time, it’s because they removed a 5-foot-4, 110-pound Sacramento-area woman from a plane so a hefty passenger could have an extra seat.
The woman was flying standby, paid full fare for the last available seat, got on board, stowed her bags and sat down… then she was told to deplane immediately.
Seems, a late-arriving passenger needed two seats because of her girth.
A spokeswoman for Southwest said, “We know this was awkward and we should have handled it better.”
FYI: the hefty gal was only 14.
A couple in Stockton, California was arrested for theft after they gutted their foreclosed home.
The couple had stopped making payments so the house was foreclosed. They took out doors, ceiling fans, all the kitchen appliances, cabinets above the toilet, the mirror above the vanity and more.
They might have gotten away with it until they decided to sell everything to the home’s new buyers!
The law says that the stripped property belongs to the house and whoever buys the house.
