A suspect running from cops in Mason, Ohio may have given them the slip, if an ex-Olympian hadn’t come along.

The suspect was wanted for assaulting two police officers.

The former Olympian said the guy ran right in front of him and tried to hide. He took off when the cops got close, so the All-American sprinter and 1994 Olympic bobsledder told the cops he’d run the guy down… and he did.

He told the suspect to give up “because you’re not going to outrun me” and tackled him.

The cops finally caught up and arrested the guy.
