Over the past few years, a couple managed to steal more than $5 million in merchandise from Safeway stores in Portland, Oregon.
Police arrested the 52 year old man and 32 year old woman after Safeway placed a tracking device on their van, so whenever the van was driven to a Safeway, surveillance cameras were always on them.
The couple stole mostly common items like shampoos, razors, Rogaine, teeth whiteners, conditioners to batteries, DVDs and CDs. Surveillance cameras showed the man involved in 103 thefts between November and January.
