1. 7th Heaven- Better This Way

The lead singer of 7th Heaven- Keith Semple- was the winner of the British TV version of American Idol (Pop Stars). He was also a finalist on this past season of our Idol. They have a very cool gig lined up for July 30th when they open for Bon Jovi at Soldier Field.
2. Michael Franti & Spearhead- Shake It
Album: The Sound of Sunshine (Release Date: Summer)

This is the brand spankin’ new single from Franti- it will be available for download on iTunes this Tuesday and the full length will be out sometime this summer and the tour hits Red Rocks on July 31st. Visit the concert page on the Alice site for more information on tickets.
3. Petree- It’s Always Been You
Album: Weakness Makes You Beautiful
The music of Petree has already been featured on The Hills and is soon to be heard on The City. Stephen Petree was a founding member of Shiny Toy Guns and his tunes have been on tv on shows “America’s Next Top Model,” “One Tree Hill,” “Bones” and many more. He’s joined on this album by old bandmates and friends.
4. Dirtyheads- Lay Me Down

A little hip-hop, a little reggae and a tiny splash of rock make the Dirtyheads super fun. They will play Red Rocks supporting Sublime w/ Rome Saturday, July 10th.
5. Alpha Rev- New Morning

This band was recently announced as one of VH1’s You Oughta Know bands for 2010! They are another great band from Austin, Texas and the attention they’d received in their hometown got the attention of Hollywood Records who signed them in August of 2008.
6. Neon Trees- Animal

If you watch the The Tonight Show- these guys (and gal) were featured just a couple weeks ago. They also played here earlier this month with 30 Seconds to Mars.
7. Goo Goo Dolls- Home

The closest the GGD’s is coming to Denver on the current leg of their tour is Colorado Springs. They play Pikes Peak Center tomorrow night. Their new album does not have a release date yet.
8. Tom Petty- Mary Jane’s Last Dance (History Song)

John Ondrasik of FFF will be the headliner in this coming Saturday’s Denver Day of Rock. It’s a super cool event taking place downtown on the 16th Street Mall that is presented by Concerts for Kids. Just bought the PETREE Weakness Makes You Beautiful CD…LOVE IT! There is album is great all thru, I havn’t had a CD in a long time that I didn’t want to skip around. Start to finish it will steal yo away! I want to hear these guys live.
